How Much Does a Web Application Cost in Morocco?

By WenixAugust 2026
A custom web application interface

Short answer: a platform MVP — accounts, content management, and payments — starts around 10,000 MAD in Morocco. A platform with native mobile apps starts around 30,000 MAD, and a full custom platform with real-time features and integrations starts around 60,000 MAD, quoted per scope. Here's what actually separates a website from a web application, and what moves the price.

What Counts as a Web Application, Not Just a Website

The moment visitors need to log in, pay, or manage their own content, a project moves from front-end design work into real backend engineering. Accounts, payments, and content management are what actually separate a website from a platform — a marketing site tells people about your business; a web application lets them do something inside it.

Web Application Pricing, By Tier

Every web application we scope in Morocco lands in one of three tiers, depending on what it actually has to do:

  • A platform MVP — from 10,000 MAD. Accounts, content management, and payments — the point where a "website" becomes a real product.
  • A platform with native mobile apps — from 30,000 MAD. Everything in the MVP, plus dedicated iOS and Android apps published to the App Store and Google Play.
  • A full custom platform — from 60,000 MAD, quoted per scope. Real-time features, advanced workflows, and integrations with the tools a growing business already runs.

Every tier includes hosting and SSL free for the first year and 30 days of post-launch support. Ongoing hosting, maintenance, and support after that starts at 1,500 MAD a month, if you'd rather we handled it.

What Actually Drives the Cost of a Web App

Backend complexity is the biggest factor: authentication and user accounts, payment processing, and real-time features each add real engineering work beyond front-end design. Integrations with tools a business already runs — payment providers, calendars, existing databases — add scope proportional to how many systems have to talk to each other. Whether the platform needs to support multiple organizations at once (multi-tenant) or just one (single-tenant) changes the underlying architecture, not just the interface.

Real Web Applications We've Built

WenixHR is a multi-tenant SaaS platform with face-recognition attendance and Philippine-compliant payroll. Verra Mariya is a full commerce platform: guest checkout, server-trusted totals, and a complete operator portal behind an editorial storefront. RiadPMS is a property-management system built for a Marrakech riad operator — booking sync, task dispatch, and Moroccan compliance prep. Three different platforms, three different tiers, because the architecture follows what the business actually needs.

MVP vs. Full Platform: What's the Difference

An MVP is built to validate an idea fast: the core features that prove the product works, without every feature you can imagine. A full custom platform is built for scale from day one — real-time features, advanced workflows, and integrations planned in from the start rather than bolted on later. Most businesses are better served starting with an MVP and expanding once real usage proves out the direction.

Our Approach

We build every tier the same way at Wenix: on Astro, React, and TypeScript, with the same in-house team from the first call to launch. Fixed pricing, full source-code ownership, and no lock-in, whether the project is an MVP or a full custom platform.
